I followed instruction of Hotmail Help that says "right click on the message and click on View source" to get a header.
In Yahoo, header has IP address of the sender and I found it right away. I can not find IP address in Hotmail.
Any ideas????
Thank you for your answers in advance. If I get a right answer from you → I wish I could "give" you more than 10 points ←. LOL I really need to have a good direction that works. :)
How to find IP address in Hotmail message? Can you help?
You can do it by going to your hotmail email address and signing into it. Next on the upper left hand corner of the screen you will see the Options lick, click on it. Then go to more options and select Full Headers. That will give you the IP address of the sender of the email address.
There are programs out there like the one I use called EmailTrackerPro that once installed will track the IP of the sender to their ISP server, but you have to buy those programs. It is easier to use the Full Header option. Good luck.
