Referrals are the best way to devlop any business, but the trick is to figure out how to stimulate the referrals. Our cleaning service had a good plan.
After we used the service the first time, they sent us a coupon that we could give to someone else as a referral. The people we gave it to got a 10 percent discount on their job, AND we then got a discount on our next service in return for making the referral. We saved money, the customer we referred saved money, and the cleaning service got two happy customers. That's a win-win-win situation.

Purchase a mailing list from a bigger company through MGI Lists, they are relatively cheap and will give you a platform to get your info out to the masses.
